Here we take a look at how Port Vale’s loanees got on at the weekend for their respective sides.

Chris Neal was unable to prevent Bury conceding a stoppage time equaliser as they drew 1-1 with Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium.

In his fourth appearance for the Shakers since joining on loan last month, the goalkeeper stood strong for 92 minutes but couldn’t stop Tyler Walker’s last gasp goal.

Colin Daniel got on the score sheet for Mansfield Town against Hartlepool United at the Victoria Ground but the Stags still fell to a 2-1 loss.

The 28-year-old came on as a 39th minute substitute for Chris Clements and equalised for the visitors midway through the second half after Billy Paynter had scored the opener from the penalty spot.

However, with five minutes to go Hartlepool were awarded another spot kick and Paynter repeated his routine to net the winner.

Meanwhile, Sam Johnson made the trip to Dover with Halifax but returned with no points as Nicky Deverdics scored the only goal of the game to earn the hosts the win.

The result meant the Shaymen dropped to 22nd in the National League table, one point from safety.

Ryan Lloyd featured for Chester as they drew 2-2 with Boreham Wood at the Deva Stadium.

The Vale winger played 79 minutes and was on the pitch for both Chester goals but the visitors snatched a point late on via Harry White.

Nathan Smith missed out as Torquay United won 2-1 at Gateshead. The defender is recovering from an injury he picked up in last month’s loss to Dover.
