The three points moved Page’s side up to eighth in the Sky Bet League One table on 16 points from eleven games.
Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD after the match, the manager said he was very pleased with the overall performance against the Blades.
“I’m really proud of the boys,” he began. “I thought the first ten or fifteen minutes they came at us and we knew they were going to have a lot of the ball.
“But I thought our discipline in defending was outstanding and then we took the game to them.
“We felt there was a time in the game where we said ‘enough is enough now, we’re going to impose ourselves on you’.
“We kept the ball and I thought that we used it really well today. Great goals and I thought we could have had another couple as well.”
