Port Vale will wear their purple third strip in this evening’s FA Cup first round replay against Maidenhead United.
Due to a clash with both the Valiants’ regular home and away kits, the decision was taken for Rob Page’s side to wear the alternate.
The last time Vale took to the field in purple was in last season’s Sky Bet League One win over Notts County at Meadow Lane.
Winger Mark Marshall scored the only goal of the match to earn three points.
