Port Vale Business Alliance Launched

16 June 2015

Port Vale Football Club is proud to launch its brand new Business Alliance.

The Port Vale Business Alliance will formally bring together a family of businesses under one common banner.

Businesses will be invited to become the Club’s exclusive partner within specific industry categories and will pay a subscription fee to secure exclusive advertising benefits.

The Club’s Commercial Manager, Jordan Neville, said: “We’re very pleased to be able to announce the Port Vale Business Alliance.

“We believe the new initiative will be a success and very popular among businesses.

“It is going to help the club financially and also benefit the businesses that decide to become partners.”

Chairman Norman Smurthwaite added: “I’m really pleased that we are moving the club forward commercially.

“The Commercial team have done a fantastic job in getting the Business Alliance started and next season we hope to do a lot more for supporters and businesses alike.”

Raj Athwal, Chief Commercial Officer, commented: “This is the first of many new commercial, revenue and business initiatives that the club will embark upon in the coming months.

“Essentially we want people to come and utilise the club’s customers and resources and we want to position Port Vale Football Club as a hub for the local community.”

Manager Rob Page said: “This is a great initiative which we hope is going to help us not only off the pitch but on it as well.

“We all work together as one unit at this football club and every member of staff is as important as the players and managerial team.

“It’s pleasing to see that the club is branching out commercially, something which is extremely important in the modern game.”
