29 July 2015

Port Vale defender Remie Streete reckons there are plenty of positives to be taken from Tuesday night’s friendly with Bolton Wanderers.

Streete played the entire second half of the contest alongside Richard Duffy after replacing new arrival Ryan Inniss at the break.

Speaking exclusively to Valiant PlayerHD, the centre back insisted Rob Page’s side can take heart from their performance.

“It’s disappointing but I think it’s more the positives that you can take out of it in pre-season,” he said.

“Everyone wants to win but the result at the end of the day doesn’t mean a lot until the first game of the season.

“I just think the lads are looking forward to that and getting their fitness through games like this.”
