“Good signs with Colin Daniel coming back to fitness,” he said.


"We’ve had some good news with him, he has had an injection in his ankle at the back end of last week and we’re slowly building him up back to full fitness.


“So within the next couple of days he will be back into full training with us.”


On the return of Dodds, he added: “He is back to normal Doddsy, back to full fitness and he has looked bright in training.


“I thought he put a great ball in for Byron’s goal on Saturday, not too many would have seen that pass out there, so it’s nice to have him back.”


After a spell of disappointing results towards end of January and the beginning of February, Vale are now firing on all cylinders once again.
