Rob Page’s side travel to Glanford Park on Tuesday evening on the back of a gutsy stalemate against Karl Robinson’s men at Vale Park.
The Iron beat fellow relegation candidates Crawley Town at the weekend and currently sit just a point ahead of Vale in the Sky Bet League One table.
Speaking exclusively to Valiant Player ahead of the game, 26-year-old Williamson said he and his teammates will head to Lincolnshire in a positive mindset.
“We’ve experienced it a lot this season, anyone can beat anyone,” he said.
“They [Scunthorpe] have come off a good win on Saturday and hopefully we can go there and impose ourselves and have the same mentality as we had against MK Dons and hopefully it’ll be enough to get the three points.”
