Vale’s newest loan signings Achille Campion and Jordan Slew are, according to manager Micky Adams, fitness doubts for Saturday’s game against Peterborough United.
Speaking to the press earlier today, Micky said: “Achille unfortunately won’t be involved in Saturday, he has a bit of a thigh strain.
"He’s had that really since he’s been with us, but we’ve signed him and he’ll need two or three weeks to recover from it.
“Jordan for an hour against Chester the other day, I thought he was excellent and then he blew a gasket.
"That can sometimes happen because it was a hot day, but also I think he needs a little bit of fitness work so he’s not quite ready yet, but when he is up to standard he’ll give me food for thought.”
