Steven Jennings Rejoins Tranmere Rovers On Loan

Vale Midfielder Heads To Prenton Park

Port Vale midfielder Steven Jennings has rejoined former club Tranmere Rovers on loan.

 

The 29-year-old, who signed for the Valiants in July, has put pen to paper on a deal which will keep him at Prenton Park until 5 January.

 

Having started his career with Rovers as a trainee, Jennings will now head back to Birkenhead and work under former Vale boss Micky Adams.

Speaking of Jennings’ loan deal, Vale interim manager Rob Page said: “I think from a personal point of view when you’re not playing in the first team it can only benefit you as an individual to get some game time.

 

“Under me Steven has not had much game time and the two lads in front of him have been playing really well, as has Michael [Brown].

 

“I think it is going to be good for him to go out and play games for Tranmere.”
