Aziz Deen-Conteh Signs For Port Vale

Defender Joins The Ranks At Vale Park

Port Vale can confirm the signing of former Chelsea defender Aziz Deen-Conteh on a deal which runs to 2017.

The 21-year-old, who usually plays at left back, is a former England youth international having appeared for the Three Lions at under-16 and under-19 level.

The youngster was registered as part of Chelsea’s 2012/13 UEFA Champions League squad but did not feature in the competition.

He spent last season at Greek side FC Ergotelis, making seven appearances in the Superleague.

On his new signing, Vale boss Rob Page said: “We’d like to welcome Aziz to the football club.

“I spoke to Adi Viveash, who has worked with him at Chelsea with regards to the development and he speaks very highly of him.

“We know we’ve got a talent on board and one we can develop to hopefully benefit he first team and the football club.”
