An update on the Port Vale Fantasy Football Challenge

After a week off for FA Cup football, the teams are back in action this weekend. Although the transfer window doesn’t apply to the Fantasy League, you have been able to make changes, so the question is, HAVE YOU DONE SO?

Making subtle changes can make all the difference to your points tally in any given week and it is important to keep checking and to look out for players who may be out injured etc.

As usual, we pick out two teams for the Vale Fantasy Football league this week and have a nosey at their team selections.

place out of the 429 teams in the league.^ndFirst up we look at No Imagination FC, managed by Tony Withington – whether Tony has got any imagination is debatable I suppose, but one thing is for sure, his team are doing exceptionally well and are currently in 2

Let’s look at his line-up then. In goal Tony has David De Gea and in front of the Man United stopper he has gone for a back three of Davide Santon, Seamus Coleman and Gary Cahill.

In the middle of the park is Yohan Cabaye, Eden Hazard, Raheem Sterling and Gnegneri Yaya Touré, whilst up front for ‘No Imagination FC’ is Wayne Rooney, Lukas Podolski and skipper Luis Suárez.

The second team we have taken a look at this week is the one managed by Alan Machin - imaginatively (not) called Macho’s Masters.

In goal Alan has plumped for Hull City’s Allan McGregor. He has a back three consisting of Seamus Coleman, Phil Bardsley and Danny Gabbidon.

In midfield he has gone for Yohan Cabaye, Theo Walcott, Gnegneri Yaya Touré and Ross barkley and up top he also has Wayne Rooney and Luis Suárez, plus recently added Emmanuel Adebayor.
