Bradford difficult

Page expecting another tough encounter

Bradford have not had the best of times in recent games and are desperate to get back to winning ways, starting with the game against Vale on Tuesday night.

Rob Page says it is important that Vale put all of that to one side and prepare well for a game that is not going to be easy, as it never is against Bradford City.

He said: “They have had a few draws and had a disappointing result last time out as well but we know, whenever you go to Bradford you are in a for a tough game.

It is not going to be any different on Tuesday night, so we are not going to be going there expecting to turn up and get a result, we will give them the respect they deserve.

“They will be wanting a win to turn things around so we know we are going to be in for a tough battle there.

“You know what to expect when you are playing against a Bradford team, they are going to be well organised, hard working and they will play off the big man.

“As much as we say we have defended well in our last couple of games and have got clean sheets, we know we are in for a difficult sort of test and we have got to be up for a physical battle.

“We will show then the respect they deserve, but we have done our homework on them and we will look at certain things and if we have not prepared right then we will set ourselves up for a fall.

“There is no way the manager will allow that to happen and we will prepare for this one like we do any other game and that will give us the best chance to get a result.”
