Grew warns Vale are in for a tough game against the Blades

Mark Grew won’t be taking too much notice of the league table as Vale go into Saturday’s match at Bramall Lane against Sheffield United.
Although they say the table never lies, the Blades could hit form at any time, and as their second half display against Coventry City showed, they are capable of doing some damage.
Grew said: “I watched their game on Sunday and in the first half they looked like they were lacking in confidence, but in the second half they changed it, they put three subs on and they looked a different team.
“”When they got that goal I was thinking they were going to get a result, but all credit to them, they played really well in the second half and if they can carry that on we know we are in for a tough game.
“We know we are in for a tough game anyway, you don’t go to Sheffield United and get an easy time. What we need to do is go there, set our stall out like we did on Saturday, keep them quiet and see if we can nick a goal.
“If somebody had said we will be going to Sheffield United this season and they would be bottom of the league, then you would have probably had a little smile on your face.
“But they have gone through it and they haven’t gelled as they would have liked, but we are going to do nothing different, we will prepare as we usually do and we will be ready for a battle.
“We have a fully fit squad available, apart from Gavin Tomlin, and what would be nice would be to keep the same side for the match at Crawley on Tuesday night - that would mean we have done well on Saturday at Bramall Lane.”
