Port Vale has confirmed that they will be hosting Championship side Leicester City at Vale Park on Tuesday July 23, (7.30pm).
Nigel Pearson’s side finished sixth place, earning themselves a play-off place. The Foxes lost their play-off semi-final against Watford 3-2 on aggregate, and will play Championship football again next season.
The match will be the first of two home pre-season fixtures for the Valiants, with Micky Adams’ side also welcoming Derby County on Tuesday July 16.
