Vale to play two fixtures in Dublin
Port Vale will travel to Ireland as part of their pre-season preparations ahead of the League One campaign. Micky Adams' side will play two fixtures in Dublin against opposition still to be confirmed between July 8 and 14.
It has also been announced that Vale will play local side Newcastle Town at the Aspire Stadium on Sunday July 7 (2.30), one day before they travel to Dublin.
The club also confirmed today that Micky Adams will welcome his former club Leicester City to Vale Park on July 23.
