Club will not extend contract
Port Vale manager Micky Adams has revealed that the club will not be opting to extend Sean McAllister's current deal when it expires on January 8.
The midfielder will now be leaving Port Vale and is free to pursue opportunities with other football clubs.
Said Micky: "It's unfortunate that we weren't able to offer Sean more first-team opportunities but that underlines the competition for places we have among the squad.
"He's a great professional and we wish him the very best of luck for the future."
