League Two Programme of the Year

The much-acclaimed Port Vale programme, ‘In Black & White’ has again been voted League Two Programme of the Year.

The Club were notified this morning that the Football Trader has selected the Vale programme above all of the rest.

Things taken into consideration were value for money, interesting content, good layout, not overdone with adverts and ‘a Matchday Magazine that supporters would like to keep’.

Programme Editor Dave Johnson said: “I am obviously delighted. It is nice to know that we are not only doing the business on the pitch, but away from the playing area too.

“There are a lot of contributors to the programme who give up their time for free, and I also have to mention the people who volunteer to come in and proof-read before the programme goes to print.

“I can’t take all the credit for our success, but all of those who have helped can rightly feel very proud of themselves.

We aren’t there yet of course, but I hope we manage to get a crack at winning the League One award next season.”
