Midfielder will travel to Southend this morning
Former Shrewsbury Town midfielder Sean McAllister joins the squad for tomorrow’s match at Roots Hall after signing a short term deal last night.
The Administrators agreed to fund the deal which will see the 25-year-ols central midfielder join the club initially on an eight week contract.
Described as a box to box player, McAllister was part of Shrewsbury’s promotion winning side last season but was released by Graham Turner in the summer.
He has been training with the Vale for the past couple of weeks so fitness should not be a problem.
Vale will travel to Southend with just seventeen fit players due to injuries and suspensions, but McAllister will more than likely start on the bench.
