Vale in the Community receives funding
Vale in the Community has received funding from the National Lottery Awards for All Fund to deliver a new health initiative.
Healthy Lifestyles Officer John Mayer says “The Health Kicz project targets male and female adults residing in the ST6 post code area who are seeking to improve their general fitness and well being.
“Participants will receive a FREE personal health MOT, knowledge and tips about health and nutrition and provided with pathways leading them to a longer term more fulfilled and healthier lifestyle”.
The Community Trust Manager said “Professional football clubs are in a unique position in being able to raise awareness of social and environmental issues.
“Health is one of our four core themes which are supported by the Football League Trust and this initiative allows Port Vale Football Club to provide positive benefits for their local neighbourhood”.
Health Kicz is funded for twelve months and is targeting those residents living in the ST6 post code area.
