We can confirm that midfielder, Mike Calveley has joined Leek Town on a one month loan deal.

Calveley was part of the Leek squad who travelled to face Stocksbridge Park Steels last night in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.

The young midfielder signed his first professional contract with Port Vale in the summer, following a successful season with the under-18 side, being named the Player of the Year.

Mike will now look to gain some first team experience at Leek and continue his development.
