Across the 30 games officiated by Marsden, he handed out a total of 91 yellow cards and nine red cards. Marsden refereed the Valiants three times at home last season, a 4-1 defeat to Oldham Athletic, a 2-0 defeat to Forest Green Rovers and a 1-0 victory against Crawley Town.

His assistants on Tuesday will be Lisa Rashid and Ian Smedley with Robert Massey-Ellis taking on the role as fourth official.
