The Port Vale Supporters Club will be holding an evening with the legendary Bob Newton on Friday 1st February 2019.

Bob played in the promotion team of 1982/1983 alongside the likes of Mark & Neville Chamberlain, Ernie Moss, Steve Fox, Phil Sproson, Jimmy Greenhoff, Geoff Hunter and even Robbie Earle. 

As he ended the season as top goalscorer for the club on 20 goals, Bob became a cult hero and even to this day Vale fans sing his name. It is fantastic that the Supporters Club have been able to get him back to Vale Park for the event and reflect on some good times with a Vale legend.

You can buy your tickets for the event, which will be held in the Valiant Suite, for just £10 from the ticket office which includes some good old pie and peas on the night.
