Tuesday night’s official match programme for the visit of Accrington Stanley will be priced at just £1.50.

The initial fixture between the Vale and Stanley was due to take place on 17 December, though the match was called off less than 24 hours before the scheduled kick-off due to a frozen pitch at Vale Park.

Given the timescales involved, the Vale had already received their printed match programmes for the fixture. In line with the club’s efforts to be more environmentally conscious in its operations, the decision has been taken to use the programmes printed for the initial fixture on Tuesday night.

Programmes will be available at half price (£1.50), and while some of the content may be dated, there is an interview with defender Dan Jones inside this edition, which followed the birth of his son Theo.
