Port Vale Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Huddersfield Town defender Mustapha Olagunju, who has signed on loan until the end of the season subject to EFL and FA clearance.

The 19-year-old London born defender recently made his Huddersfield debut in their FA Cup third round tie at Plymouth Argyle at the start of January.

Olagunju had previously played for XYZ Academy and Kent Football United before signing for the Terriers in July 2018.

During the 2018/19 season, Olagunju played almost every minute of every game for the Huddersfield under-17 side, before making the step up to the under-19 team the following season.

He also experienced a taste of some senior football during the 2019/20 season following a short loan spell at Tadcaster Albion as well as Welling 

Port Vale hope that Mustapha will continue his impressive development during his stay at the football club.
