The club are delighted to announce that Tom Pope has signed a two year contract extension with the club.

The record breaking goal scorer has put pen to paper which keeps him here at the club until 2021. Popey has been an instrumental figure during his two spells at the Vale, scoring 33 goals in Vale's promotion season back in 2013 whilst last season, his 19 goals proved vital in the clubs survival in League Two. 

An iconic and well respected figure around the club, the captain has hit the back of the net ten times so far this season and is just two goals off a century for the Valiants in all competitions.
