Everyone at Port Vale Football Club were saddened at the passing of lifelong fan, James Antony Evans, during the Cambridge match on Saturday.

Known amongst friends and family as "Tony", he loved to play the drums and was a well known character in Burslem, who started to bring his daughter along to the Vale when she turned five. 

At this very difficult time, everyone at the club would like to send their thoughts and prayers to Tony's family and friends.
