Port Vale celebrating Unite for Access Campaign this weekend

Port Vale FC is supporting Level Playing Field's annual Unite For Access campaign this weekend, which aims to showcase the good work being done by clubs to improve accessibility and inclusion for disabled fans.

Port Vale FC supports the campaign and we are getting involved by helping disabled supporters learn about Level Playing Field and understand what the charity does, what its aims are to improve accessibility and inclusion, and how they can assist disabled fans.

Level Playing Field supports disabled sports fans through its membership and a variety of active initiatives.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your role as DLO?

I’m the Disability Liaison Officer and Site Security Officer at Port Vale FC.

I have worked for Port Vale Football Club for the past three years, supporting accessibility requirements across the stadium to ensure we provide an inclusive environment and access for everyone.

I bring a unique skillset and understanding being a wheelchair user myself.

Tell us about the Accessibility offering at Port Vale FC?

I believe we have outstanding accessibility facilities, including a dedicated stand to ensure we can cater for individual requirements to ensure a great match day experience.

We are always looking to improve and ensure a first-class experience for all, so I welcome suggestions and feedback for home and away supporters so we can ensure we are meeting the needs of all supporters.

How can supporters contact you with feedback, suggestions or if they require accessibility support at matches?

Supporters can contact me via email on dlo@port-vale.co.uk or by calling 07722 925759
