Port Vale Football Club welcomed Staffordshire University’s Level four Sports Journalism students on Tuesday night to assist them in their studies.
28 students experienced the 4-2 victory over Crewe Alexandra in the Checkatrade Trophy, as the local students got to experience what life is like as a journalist in the real world.
During their visit, they managed to interview Vale boss Neil Aspin, midfielder Michael Tonge and Crewe Alexandra manager – David Artell.
