James Gibbons today put pen to paper to extend his current contract.
His current deal was due to expire next year but after successful spell under the new Gaffer, Gibbons was offered a two year extension.
Gibbons is a product of the Port Vale Academy, along with Ryan Boot, Nathan Smith and Dan Turner. Since joining the club, Manager Neil Aspin has played him in the right back position, offering an opportunity which the 19 year old grabbed with both hands. He has made a very positive impression and we are delighted to sign him up for an extra two years.
