The club isn’t removing the loyalty scheme and it will be in place for the 2023/24 season.

We believe we have taken some positive strides in introducing the scheme to the club, the first in the club’s history, however, this wasn’t without teething problems which fans and the club regretfully experienced throughout the season.

Over the summer period, we looked at the best course of action to move forward and the fairest and best solution for the 2023/24 season.

Last season due to numerous technical errors, a number of supporters were misallocated points or in minor cases not awarded points at all. In the first instance, we attempted to rectify these issues, however, it was very difficult to identify all of those that were directly impacted.

There were also instances where supporters who elected not to continue with a season ticket for the 2023/24 season continued with their points total accrued the previous season.  

This is why we believe that the fairest solution was to reset all of the points.

Understandably this has caused confusion amongst the supporter base and as a club, we take full responsibility for this and lack of communication prior to the start of the 2023/24 season.

The club are planning to have open conversations with the supporters summit regarding the loyalty scheme and how this works best for our fanbase and in particular those that travel to away matches, whom the system benefits the most.
