DIRECTIONS:

Take the M6 south to the junction with M5. Continue on M5 and exit at junction 1. The ground is just along the road on the right.

WHERE TO PARK:

Street parking is available especially the other side of the motorway.

THE STADIUM:

Since our last visit to the Hawthorns the stadium has been completed with the East Stand being the last piece of the jigsaw. This single tiered stand holds executive boxes along its back. Of course this ground is the only one higher than our own Vale Park!

WHERE THE VALIANTS WILL BE SEATED:

Away fans are seated in the Smethwick Road end, where 2,700 seats have been allocated. There is a good view from this end. Unfortunately at our last visit it was noted that the concourse was rather cramped.

FOOD:

The usual football food is available in the ground – burgers, pies, sausage rolls and pasties.

DRINK:

The Vine pub, about 15 minutes walk away, is mainly used by away fans. Instead of turning left to the ground turn right at the roundabout and then exit into Birmingham road. Take the first left into Roebuck Street – the Vine is at the far end. The Park Inn also welcomes away fans which is 10 minutes away from the ground.
