In League One and JJ Hooper played his first full 90 minutes at Northampton this weekend, as they won away from home against Shrewsbury Town.

Hooper got the assist for the second goal for the Cobblers, as they secured a 4-2 away win at the managerless Shrews.

 

To the National League and Ryan Lloyd continued his run in the Chester starting eleven with another 90 minutes under his belt in their 1-1 draw with York City.

 

It was also a 1-1 draw for midfielder Nathan Ferguson, as Southport were unlucky to not come away with all three points.

 

And, Gateshead made it three wins in row and moved within three points of the play-offs with a 2-0 win away at Maidstone, where Sam Johnson was an unused substitute.

 

In the Non-League where two Vale goalkeepers currently play their football and it was a disappointing weekend.

 

Harry Pickering was unable to prevent Kidsgrove losing 2-1 at home to Stocksbridge Park Steel, despite making a succession of saves.

 

There was also defeat for Ryan Boot as it was a weekend to forget for the ‘keeper and Worcester City, as they lost 5-1 against Darlington.

 

Finally, we can confirm that James Gibbons and Billy Reeves have now returned to Vale Park following their loan spells.
