The Leeds-born striker has been a youth product of Huddersfield Town since he was very young, after he joined from Rothwell Juniors as a 12-year old. Rekeil, signed his first professional contract in May, aged just 17 where he was playing with the under-21 squad.
The 19-year old has experienced just a sample of what the Football League has to offer where he has appeared for Wrexham in the National League and Colchester United in League One. His time at the Racecourse Ground saw him make three appearances for Dean Keates’ men as he then went onto join the U’s just months later. Pyke made 12 appearances for United and impressed heavily, attracting the apparent interest from Everton during pre-season.
The forward has been lively at the start of the 2017/18 pre-season campaign where he managed to bag four goals in two games. His pace and power look to be frightening for opposition’s defenders with the ability to play anywhere across the front-line.
