We take a look at how the players out on loan got on during the last week...

Dior Angus and Mike Calveley have enjoyed a positive week at Nuneaton Borough, with Angus scoring both of his side's goals during a 2-2 draw with York City on Tuesday night. Both players also featured during Saturday's 1-0 victory over FC United of Manchester, but it was former Vale man Enoch Andoh who found the bet on that occasion.

Despite starting both of Cheltenham Town's recent fixtures, it has been a frustrating few days for Tyrone Barnett. The experienced forward was unable to prevent the Robins falling to defeat against Lincoln City on Saturday, and he also missed a penalty during Tuesday's draw at home to Morecambe.

One man who has impressed whilst away from Vale is Rob Lainton. The goalkeeper has been in inspired form for Wrexham this season and he kept his ninth clean sheet of the National League season on Saturday in a 1-0 win over Barnet, a result that lifted Sam Ricketts' men to fourth in the division.

Meanwhile, Dan Turner is still nursing an injury and he was therefore unavailable as Falkirk ran out as victors away at Alloa Athletic. Harry Benns has also been having injury problems, meaning he was ruled out of Stafford Rangers' two fixtures.
