The EFL have confirmed who will be the man in the middle of tonight's game with Northampton.
Gavin Ward will be the man in the middle of Port Vale’s League One clash with Northampton Town.
Ward has officiated in 11 League One games and 15 League Two games, giving a total of 94 yellow cards and four red cards so far this campaign.
It will be his first Port Vale fixture of the season, with his last game coming two season's ago in Vale's 1-0 defeat against Crewe Alexandra in 2015.
He will be assisted by Craig Hicks and Garry Maskell, while Christopher Starginson will act as fourth official.
