VACANCY - School Sports Coach

Port Vale FC Foundation is looking to appoint a highly motivated full time coach to join the developing foundation team throughout school sport participation programme.

Port Vale Foundation Trust is looking for a passionate individual who can lead a team and assist with the expansion of the current coaching delivery within the Foundation. This innovative role will aim to combine the areas of School Sport and Football Development to ensure maximum impact with individuals on programmes whilst working with external funding partners to grow the Foundation in the PL Primary stars programme.

You will be involved in the delivery of a schools sports programme, football development and other sporting activities across all themes the foundation delivers. These include Sports participation, Health and Disability, Education and Social Inclusion.

The candidate must understand the importance of planning, delivering and evaluation projects and have a passion for community engagement through the vehicle of a professional Football Club.

The successful candidate must hold a minimum level 2 NGB award in specific sports, AFPE level 2,an in date safeguarding protecting children and First Aid certificate.  All coaches will be required to hold an enhanced DBS certificate or subject to an enhanced DBS check prior to commencing.

Closing date for the all applications is Wednesday 9th August 2017 5pm with all interviews taking place wk commencing 21st August 2017.
