Having played for Port Vale in the final pre-season fixture, Miguel Santos was finally confirmed as a player for the club.
The goalkeeper has been here for over a month, training with the first team on a daily basis.
Santos will look to add competition for Ryan Boot, Harry Pickering and Jak Alnwick, as they fight to be number one.
Miguel was pleased to finally be confirmed as a Vale Player and says he will fight and work every day to compete to be in the first team.
He said: “I’m very pleased to get the deal done as it was tough to be here one month, but my desire to play for Port Vale is very high.
“It’s tough to be here so long, but my mind was focused on playing in England and Port Vale have given me that chance.
“I just want to work every day and i will give everything so the boss can decide if I play or not.
“For being here one month it’s been good because I have got used to the city and my team mates and the club and now I feel pretty comfortable with Port Vale and the city.”
