We can confirm that midfielder Nathan Ferguson has joined National League side Southport on loan.The midfielder joined Vale during the summer transfer window and will now get the chance to gain some regular first team football.
The 20 year-old joined from Burton Albion and will join the likes of Sam Johnson and Ryan Lloyd in the division.
Southport are currently struggling in the relegation places and will be hoping Ferguson will be able to help turn their fortunes around.
