Since joining Vale back towards the end of October, Ryan Taylor hasn’t looked back since making his first start.
Taylor joined Vale on the 21st of October and the day after he was in the starting eleven against Oxford United.
Ryan has since gone on to start every League game for Vale since his debut, including scoring on his debut.
However, in recent years Taylor hasn’t had the chance to start a run of games and he was delighted to be getting these minute under is belt.
He said: “I’ve played three games this past week and I can’t remember the last time I’ve done that.
“They look after me here well and I train properly, I do everything I can that come the weekend I’m fit and ready and that’s the only thing I can do.”
With a matter of weeks now left on his temporary deal that he signed, many are interested to see what the next move is for Ryan.
The defender is not concentrating on the distant future however, he has eyes firmly set on Hartlepool United this weekend.
“I just take the games one by one and I look forward to them even more now because I feel a lot better and I’m hoping come January we can push on.
“I take everything week by week and I can't guarantee anything in January because I’ve had a very stop star career, so I’m just looking to the next game and we will take it from there.”
