Kevin Wright will be the man in the middle for Port Vale’s trip to Chesterfield this weekend.
Mr Wright has officiated 31 games so far this term, brandishing 97 yellow cards and five reds.
The last time he refereed a match involving Vale was in December as Rob Page’s side were beaten 2-0 by Walsall at Banks’s Stadium.
This will be the first Chesterfield fixture he has taken charge of since August, when the Spireites lost 2-0 to Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
Marvyn Amphlett and Karl Evans will assist Wright as linesman while Declan Bourne will be the fourth official.
