Port Vale midfielder Sam Foley has been named in the Football League Paper’s Team of the Day for his performance against Colchester United.
The 29-year-old played an instrumental role as the Valiants beat the U’s 2-0 at Vale Park on Saturday, scoring the second goal.
Playing on the left side of midfield, Foley was a thorn in the side of the visitors all afternoon with his energetic display. The full team is below…
