Yesterday, Port Vale completed the signing of midfielder Nathan Ferguson on a one year-deal from Burton Albion.
Ferguson became the 13th signing under Bruno Ribeiro and helps to strengthen the midfield at Vale Park ahead of the new season.
Vale had been tracking Nathan for a few weeks before being able to complete the deal, but now everything is done, the 20 year-old is looking forward to getting things started with the Valiants.
He said: “I first found out about Port Vale’s interest a couple of weeks ago and I knew that the opportunity would go if I didn’t take it.
“I have heard through the grapevine that the manager likes good football and I like to think that I could maybe contribute in that way, so I thought it would be a good fit for me.
“I like to get on the ball and I can get up and down the pitch – I like to get on the ball and play football.”
