Port Vale boss Rob Page was delighted to have secured two new signings ahead of his side’s clash with Doncaster Rovers.
Matthew Kennedy and Theo Robinson penned deals with the Club yesterday ahead of tonight’s contest at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Both players could make their Vale debuts in the Sky Bet League One match after their international clearance was granted on Monday evening.
Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD, the manager said: “It’s a fantastic addition into the squad straight away, they come straight in.
“Matty has been involved at Championship level and played the back end of last season, played a few games for Cardiff and he’s played for two big clubs so to go straight into a game like this will be great for him.
“And Theo, he hasn’t had that many minutes on the pitch but I know someone of his quality, experience and pace, whether he starts or comes on at any stage of the game we know he’ll come on and have an influence on the game.”
