Player Classic - Port Vale 3-2 Bradford City

4 August 2016

As the first game of the season against Bradford approaches, we take a look at a memorable game.

As the first game of the new Sky Bet League One season gets under way this weekend against Bradford City, we decided to take a look back at the history books.

There have been some great games against Bradford in the past, but one which stood out for us, was the 3-2 win at Vale Park back in the 2011/12 season.

Having been pegged back twice in the game by the Bantams, it eventually came down to a last minute winner in stoppage time.

Striker, Tom Pope found himself on the end of a cross, to give Vale all three points.
