The Foundations soccer camps are going from strength to strength. The clubs Foundations summer fun weeks include skill based coaching in the mornings with mini soccer games, penalty shoot out and cross bar challenge competitions in the afternoons of each day were very well received on last week’s course.
As part of the week children were taken on an exclusive access all areas stadium tour around the Etihad Stadium, home of Manchester City FC.
All children taking part on the programme were presented with certificates, medals and individual competition prizes throughout the week.
Project manager Kevin Sanders commented “It has been fantastic to have such a high number of children taking part in the weeks and we hope the experience provided has shown the ambition we have to increase the number of children participating in sport within in our local community.”
