Defender Remie Streete says Port Vale won’t be taking Blackpool lightly when the sides meet in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
The Valiants welcome Neil McDonald’s outfit to Vale Park on Tuesday evening, kick-off 7.45pm, in the second round of the competition.
The Seasiders have won their last two Sky Bet League One games meaning they head to Burslem in good form.
Speaking to Valiant PlayeHD, centre back Streete insisted the game will provide a stern test for him and his teammates.
“It will be another tough game,” he began. “They haven’t had the best of starts but they’ve picked up some points in the last couple of games.
“We won’t take them lightly and we’re just looking to get another win as we always do.”
