O’Connor On Upturn In Away Form

26 November 2015

Michael O’Connor reckons Port Vale’s improved away form could have a big say in where the club finishes this season.

The Valiants have won their last two away games in a row, against Barnsley and Maidenhead United respectively.

Rob Page’s side heads to Spotland Stadium this weekend to take on Rochdale in Sky Bet League One. Kick-off is 3pm.

Speaking exclusively to Valiant PlayerHD ahead of the game, O’Connor discussed how the upturn in away form could affect the side’s final league position.

“Our home form has been great this year,” he said.

“If we can pick points up away from home, that will see us up there towards the end of the season.

“The home form is great and I think the away form will say whether we’re in the top six or mid table.”
