Duo Make Their Faces Funny For Money

have helped raise the profile of Comic Relief by taking part in ‘make your face funny for money’. Chris Nealand  Tom PopePort Vale’s

The duo posed for photographs at Vale Park wearing promotional t-shirts, headbands and, of course, the famous red noses.

Red nose day is tomorrow, Friday 13th March, and people are being encouraged to take ‘selfies’ while pulling funny faces to help raise money for the cause.

And, as you can see from the photograph above, Pope and Neal were more than willing to take part.

“These events are a big part of being a footballer, to raise the profile of charities, the incentive’s there to raise as much money as possible,” Pope said. “So as footballers you do everything you can to help.”

Neal added: “We look stupid most days anyway, especially Tom’s gear when he comes in every day so it’s nothing new for him and it’s nothing for us, we can have a little bit of a laugh and banter as well.”
