“The second half performance I was pleased with,” he said. “Take away the penalty decision first half there are still aspects of the game I think we could have done better on.

 

“I think we could have kept the ball a lot better first half when, playing against a team like Sheffield United whose movement is good, they like to keep the ball, if you keep giving it away to them it’s going to be a long afternoon.

 

“So we addressed it at half time, I made a couple of changes and I think we were better second half.”
