The Valiants added Sheffield United defender Neill Collins, Everton midfielder Francisco Junior and Bournemouth winger Mohamed Coulibaly to their ranks on Thursday.

“I don’t want the season to just sort of finish and get through the rest of the season, picking the points up here and there,” he said.


“I want to have a go for it and I think by adding the strength and quality to the squad means we give ourselves the best chance to do it.


“We’re up against tough opposition in Leyton Orient on Saturday. They’re scrapping for survival and points themselves and we’ve got to match them in every department.


“It’s going to be a physical game, we’re going to match them and then we know from the form that we’ve shown away from home to go on and play our stuff as well.
